Your elementary camper will have a BLAST at Camp Ridgedale this summer. Our programming is built with your child’s needs in mind, balancing play and rest throughout the day.
There’s time to play hard outside in structured games and recreation, pool time, and free time. There’s time to rest inside in crafts and experiments led by our staff and CITs. There’s time to sing and dance, to listen and learn from Bible lessons and stories, and to laugh and play with friends.
Every week has a different theme, and each of these activities is carefully planned to reflect the theme and build a fully immersive experience that keeps camp exciting and unique every day.

The above schedule is an example and is subject to change.
Each week there will be a field trip / special event that adjusts the schedule.
Campers are split into “Cabins”, which is a small group of other campers of the same age who they will spend their day with.
Typically, 2 Cabins rotate throughout the day together. For example, Cabins 1 and 2 (usually campers who just completed Kindergarten and 1st grade) will stick together for Rotations and do activities together like pool, crafts, and recreation.
Leaders and CITs have the opportunity to tailor activities to the unique needs of their group. This creates a unified camp experience across all ages, but keeps in mind the differences between campers and adjusts accordingly.
The structure of Rotations at Camp Ridgedale is consistent throughout the week, but the activities change daily and are built to point back to that week’s unique theme.
Examples of activities that your camper may do during their Rotations are:
• Swimming in the pool
• Making a craft
• Conducting a science experiment
• Participating an outdoor game
• Listening to a guest speaker about a special topic
• Playing at the playground
